By using JobJunky, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between JobJunky (operated as a sole-proprietor business in Adelaide, South Australia — "JobJunky," "we," "us," or "our") and you ("User," "you") when you create an account or otherwise use the JobJunky platform at https://JobJunky.net, together with its dashboards, APIs, and any mobile or email interfaces (collectively, the "Service").

Age Requirement: You must be 18 years (or the age of majority where you live). If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • Content — resumes, cover letters, prompts, text, images, data, or other material uploaded, generated, or transmitted through the Service
  • Service Outputs — AI-generated resumes, cover letters, and other material created for you by the Service
  • Subscription — a paid plan (monthly or annual) that grants access to premium features
  • Stripe Portal — the self-service customer portal operated by Stripe, Inc.

2. Account Registration

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated
  • You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and all activity under your account
  • Sharing credentials or allowing unauthorized access is prohibited and may result in suspension and additional usage fees

3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Plans

Monthly and annual Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Prices are shown in AUD. GST is not currently charged; if that changes, we will update these Terms and your invoices.

Billing

Fees are charged in advance via Stripe; you authorize automatic debits at each renewal.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime in the Stripe Portal or by emailing contact@JobJunky.net (email cancellations are processed within 48 hours). Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the current paid term ends.

Refunds

All fees are non-refundable and not prorated. We may, at our sole discretion, grant a goodwill refund (for example, for prolonged technical failure).

Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback voids any refund rights, and your account may be suspended while the dispute is under review.

Price Changes

We may change prices with 14 days' notice; continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

4. License and Ownership

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights. You grant JobJunky a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, back up, test, and display your Content solely to operate the Service.

Service Outputs

Subject to third-party rights, you own all Service Outputs. Outputs are provided "as is"; you must review them for accuracy and infringement before use.

Feedback

If you send suggestions or comments, you grant JobJunky an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use them for any purpose.

Anonymized Data

We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from your Content or usage for analytics, security, QA, and marketing.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringing material, or any personal data of minors without consent
  • Threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone, or plan or conduct illegal activity
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or data
  • Attempt to use the Service to train AI models
  • Use the Service or its outputs to develop a competing product
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures, or upload viruses or malicious code

Violation may lead to suspension, termination, and/or additional fees.

6. Service Availability and Fair Use

No Guaranteed Uptime

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We strive to avoid unplanned downtime but do not guarantee storage or backup of your Content; export important files regularly.

Fair-Use Limits

Automated rate limits apply. "Reasonable use" means typical personal job-search activity. Excessive or abusive usage may be throttled or lead to account termination; contact support for higher limits.

Modifications

Features may be added, changed, or discontinued at any time. If we materially remove a paid feature, you may request a discretionary refund.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including cloud-provider or internet-backbone outages, natural disasters, or governmental action.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, its software, and JobJunky trademarks are owned by JobJunky or its licensors. Except for the limited licenses in Section 4, no intellectual-property rights transfer to you.

8. Disclaimer and Consumer Guarantees

Job Listings

JobJunky does not vet or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or availability of any listing.

Except for non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. Where such rights apply, our liability is limited (at our option) to resupplying the Service or refunding fees for the relevant period. For ACL details, see https://www.accc.gov.au.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobJunky's aggregate cumulative liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the total Subscription fees you paid in the 12 months immediately before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, punitive, or special losses, including lost profits, opportunity, data, or employment.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobJunky, its officers, directors, and employees from any claim, damage, or loss (including legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your Content, or (c) your unlawful or negligent use of the Service.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach, non-payment, chargebacks, or legal requirement. On termination, your access ends and we may delete Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sections that naturally survive—License, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, Governing Law—remain in force.

12. Dispute Resolution

Internal Process

Email contact@JobJunky.net with "Complaint" in the subject. Both parties must negotiate in good faith for 14 days before taking further action.

External Escalation

If unresolved, either party may bring proceedings in the courts of South Australia seated in Adelaide. Nothing prevents a consumer from filing an eligible claim in a competent small-claims court.

13. International Use

You are responsible for compliance with local laws. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms by posting the revised version and/or emailing you. Changes take effect on the date we specify. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the revised Terms.

15. General

Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia; venue is the courts of South Australia seated in Adelaide.

Severability

If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

Assignment

We may assign our rights without notice; you need our written consent to assign yours.

Entire Agreement

These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us.
